Description

There’s something about drawing hands. They’re challenging and rewarding when you get it right. The goal to get the right position and proportion of each finger, and how they are related to each other and make them express that sense of touch. Hands can be used for healing, for harming, for expressing ourselves when we talk, among others. With this drawing that it’s part of my ongoing drawing practice, I chose an image on Pixabay.com and face the challenge of finding what’s behind the squeeze. I let my mind ask these questions: is there anger? is it excitement? or is it sadness bleeding from the fruit?
