Practicing themes

This acrylic painting was based on a sketch of a woman when I attended a Drawing from Life event. This painting is the first one of the Rhythmic Gymnastic series I’m working on. This theme is inspired by the elegance of the sport. For this painting, I worked on keeping the background dark and simple to bring focus to the main character.
