Description
The “Metamorphosis” digital painting was produced for an Experimental animated Film. It was selected from a group of individual frames. They were made as part of the thesis for my Master’s in Digital Media for Concordia College – New York.
During my treatment for Breast Cancer, the words of change and transformation were very present. For me, a butterfly’s life journey represents it best. Life is forever changing with every breath, with every challenge we experience.
A caterpillar’s metamorphosis into a butterfly symbolizes my transformation, from a frighten, sad and inherently creative woman with a diagnosis of breast cancer into a strong, inspirational, joyous and creative role model for others diagnosed with breast cancer.
