Vincent van Gogh Quote

What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?

Using quotes of other people, it’s a way to help get your mind in a good place. Quotes can cheer you up, find hope, or simply, make you smile. They’re small capsules of wisdom which can help us ground our monkey minds.

In my art and, and in my life in general, I use quotes to help me be inspired about life. This quote of Vincent van Gogh “What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?”, it gives me a reason to have the courage to begin sharing what I draw and paint with more people besides my family and some of my friends. It requires more than courage to show this part of myself because it’s sharing not only a talent, but the insecurities.

I know I have courage within me, and I practice techniques to let go of my fears. Another aspect I keep in mind, it’s to appreciate my vulnerabilities. My life is more than the struggles and things I overcome, and this quote invites to be creative and move forward.
